Yes I know Gaming Laptops are not the best.
Yes, I know Desktops for life.
Yes, I know its pricey.
Im aware that i'd be better off (FINANCIALLY) building my own setup.
I want portability. The gaming setup I have simply doesnt have space or the necessary outlets for a desktop.

But would his be a decent gaming laptop that could last me a while? Would you recommend something better for a similar price?

1 返信Do you really need 16 GB of RAM? 8 would do you fine. Also that thing is gonna get hot.

1 返信I kind of favour this laptop myself. Just don't go for an Alienware model, those things are overpriced and as my brother can testify, have serious overheating issues during pretty much any time of the year barring winter.

1 返信I want a new laptop, partly for work partly for gaming, but I just can't stand the bloody number pads that so many PC laptops have these days. Why the hell would I want a number pad? I'm not an accountant.

No it is overpriced. Asus has been for like 2 years now and are essentially becoming the less hated on version of Alienware. As for recommendations go to xoticpc.com and look under Sager or MSI/Force or go to lenovo.com and look at their gaming laptops. I could link crap and say what to buy for your price range, but I am on my phone right now.
