As you open the chest, the floor below you falls through. It was a trap door! However, your strength and intelligence allow you to grab firm hold of the chest and pull yourself to safety. The chest contains a scribbled note. You peer down the hole and see the pointed spikes deep in the darkness below.

You get both feet planted atop the chest and leap over the trapdoor into the doorway from whence you came. Closing the door behind you with a relieved sigh, you find yourself once more in the hallway. The upside-down room lies through the door in front of you, stairs are to your right, and left goes back to the entrance

You slam the door to the cottage shut and find yourself in the forest once again. It's starting to get dark, and there frightful noises are beginning to come from the deeper parts of the forest to the East. You are not sure what lies in the North but the path there looks well traveled. To the East are the plains of high robsnorthin a dangerous land filled with many sexy creatures. To the West lies the low land valleys, renown for their beauty and ancient ruins.

You boldly head to the great plains, thankful to be away from the cottage. The path to the heart of the plains, is along and difficult one, but you proceed with honor. You come to small rock face, due to it's nature the only way is either East or West.

Upon investigating the skeletons, you find what one would expect. Some worn out cloth and scattered bones, but you are happy to find 3 gold pieces. You head NW to the pond but are enraged to find it was only a mirage, you are deep into the plains.

She thanks you, and explains she could not do it herself as her arm is badly hurt. Naturally, you are curious as to what is happening and ask what's going on? She says her name is "Cherith" and that she was trying to make her way towards the jungle to the far east but got lost out there in the plains. Many dangerous creatures come out when the sun goes down and she had to find the closest shelter possible. She will pay in gold if you let her spend the rest of the night here.

Despite this, she thanks you again for the shelter. After an uncomfortable sleep, you wake to find she is already gone! But beside you lies 5 gold coins. artistic ability +1 reasoning +2 5 gold added
