So, I think I covered all of the options there.
So, British television. Is it smarter than the US TV standards?

I know Ramsyes kitchen nightmares isn't the most inteligent show in the world, but if you compare the Uk's to the US's its like watching a strobe light. I'm not saying all Americans have short attention spans or that they don't have intelligent programmes, it just seems the tv producers seem to think so.

1 返信I hadn't been on b.net in a while and I honestly forgot how ethnocentric this place is. I'm going to assume it's because the average age of members of this site is lower than others I frequent but I've never been on a site that's more ethnocentric than this.

6 通の返信Like what? They do seem to be of lower production value though. Also, inb4 Doctor Who. It's a fun show, but its science is laughably stupid and the entire show is a revamped kids' series.

Is one type of tv show smarter and more intelligent than a different type of tv show? They are tv shows, they are incapable of thought nor do they have a conscious, therefore neither are intelligent creatures and one cannot be smarter than the other.

Not sure how TV shows can be more "intelligent" than other tv shows. But if you're talking about in terms of quality, then yes, Except for The Office. The British version is horrible even though it was the first one.
