Well right now we have the Mail Sacks, which are indeed weekly. As for Weekly Updates, Deej said Bungie is going to be releasing information sporadically and so they don't want people to get accustomed to information dropping on any one day of the week, so the weekly updates themselves won't be around for a while if at all.

The mail sacks are nice but I feel aren't quite what many of us are looking for. While not dropping major information regularly is understandable, the weekly updates weren't necessarily always about major information. They were a means to let people know what was going on, many weekly updates featured very very little if anything at all. Every once and a while we would get a golden nugget of information that would then keep us glued to our screens for another 3 or 4 months. Should Bungie not decide to institute a weekly update again I feel they would be missing a major opportunity to build anticipation for Destiny. I appreciate the reply though, would you kindly post a link to the thread Deej made the comment in?

You could look in his post history if you wanted, but post history is a huge pain in the butt these days.

It's interesting to see vague answers to a few user related questions but that's what they are, vague answers to [u]user[/u] questions. It would be great to hear from a rep at Bungie details on a topic inside the studio they decide to clue us in on. Stories from inside Bungie helped give us insight and were great in putting a face on the nameless heroes that gave us one of the greatest franchises in gaming history.

That's the beauty of the thing, mate. If you want them to answer something specific, you can ask them. But they don't want to give details on a game-related topic because, as Deej said, they don't want to do that weekly. The mailsack questions open on Monday. You should definitely come back then so you can ask whatever it is you want to know!
