I only own semi-autos but a few of my guns are still considered Assault Weapons. If the gun looks scary that makes it more dangerous in their eyes.

I see... a Magnum Research 1911 a Desert Eagle A GSG-5 A Mosin-Nagant 91/30 An FS2000 with an EOTech. Not sure which model though. Is that an XPS-2? A Glock 17. An AR-15, but I'm not sure of the manufacturer. Maybe Stag Arms? And (maybe) a Remington 770. I can't identify the shotgun or the revolver. Please correct me if I was wrong on any of those.

POMPANO JOEにより編集済み: 3/29/2013 1:25:37 AMThat's my suppressor. Still waiting on the ATF though... It's an HK licensed MP5 made by Walther in .22LR, GSG hasn't made them since 2009 because HK sued them. And yes it is an XPS-2, I got it for $420 because the EOTech 512 I bought was defective and they no longer had that model in stock so they upgraded me! The AR is a Bushmaster XM-15 M4A3 and the long scoped gun is a Remington 597 in .22LR, the shotgun is an H&R 12 gauge which was very cheap ($179 new) but turned out to be very well made. And the revolver is a Rossi .357, another cheaper impulse buy because I wanted to own a revolver.

POMPANO JOEにより編集済み: 3/28/2013 2:15:09 PMWhy not let someone who actually owns an FS2000 tell them how it is, yes it's almost all plastic because no one likes carrying a huge block of Steel and the balence is absolutely amazing. I've shot a few thousand rounds trough it in the short time I had it and have had no problems at all. Yes it will shoot cheap Russian ammo, all you have to do is switch the gas system to abnormal (takes one second). The ejection system works fine and it is great for me because I'm left handed, I did not buy it for attention as you say, I've always wanted a bull pup for my collection because I'm interested in owning different kinds of firearms but the AUG style rifles could not be used left handed unless you switch the bolt around, so when I went to the range I would have to switch the bolt every time I let a friend shoot it and then switch it back for me to use. The FS2000 ejects forwards, anyone can use it. Since I purchased it back in October I've only used my AR once, I love the FS2000. The only ejection system part that could break is a white plastic piece used to guide the shells to the ejection tube called the switch. This is a $9 part and should be replaced every 10,000 rounds, if it does break I can fix it in 2 minutes. The gun is like a Glock, push a button on the side and it slides apart into three pieces, no tools needed. Take the butt plate off and the trigger group slides out. I already have a nice American AR and its been ultra reliable too, most problems come from people not knowing how to use and care for their guns, and if you don't own the gun please don't tell others of the problems it has, Watching YouTube videos doesn't make you an expert.

Honestly, the FS2000 is just really fun to shoot and it balances perfectly. It also takes old USGI AR-15 or M16 mags, so you don't have to shell out a ton of money for proprietary mags. Besides that, I'm a sucker for FN. Gotta love Belgian firearms engineering.

That and it's exotic. I'd much rather have a bland American made rifle that I can swap parts on easily and make my own repairs, and not pay an arm and a leg doing so. The ejection system is very iffy on the F2000. I'd hate for it to have an issue and not have parts readily available to make repairs.
