Spider-Man has stealth and strength to his advantage. If he didn't get seen he could probably take out most of the Brutes by throwing them off of something or stringing them up. Tartarus would be difficult since he is larger and stronger than the others. If they did notice Spider-Man then they could take him out with their guns quite easily if they hit him.

They wouldn't hit him - he can dodge bullets and lightning. Tartarus' shield would be a problem...for about a heartbeat, before dozens of ten-ton punches in less than two seconds bring it down, and then Spidey slaps him around like a kitten with a ball of yarn.
They wouldn't hit him - he can dodge lightning.
Bull shit. He would need to be Flash-tier speedster. If he was really that fast, then he'd be borderline invincible. This is another situation where it's far more likely that he anticipated and evaded it. Dodging lightning makes no damn sense.

A recurring villain throughout Spider-Man canon is Electro. You can probably guess what his powers are, and yes Spider-Man has evaded such attacks before. On par with actual lightning? Probably not. But it gives a good idea of just how formidable Spidey's agility and prowess is.

Spidey's not a mutant. If he was, he'd be an X-Man. Anyway, he's fast enough to dodge lightning, and very easily avoids bullets from multiple automatic weapons at once. A bunch of slow-moving spikes and grenades would be nothing to him, and the Fist of Rukt wouldn't even be considered.

Spider-Man is a member of the X-Men, the Fantastic 4, and the Avengers. He was given powers by an external force making him a mutant. Other mutants in the Marvel Universe were given powers by scientific experiments or radiation rom nuclear/radioactive byproducts.
Spider-Man is a member of the X-Men
No idea where you got this from. He might've teamed up with them at one point but I don't think he was ever a confirmed member.
the Fantastic 4
See above.
and the Avengers.
Mostly the New Avengers, but yeah if you want to generalise that's partially correct.
He was given powers by an external force making him a mutant.
Nope. A mutant is an individual who has inherited genes and/or powers from their mutant parents or ancestors. They're the next step in evolution according to Marvel canon. Parker was most certainly human before the incident which gave him his infamous powers.
Other mutants in the Marvel Universe were given powers by scientific experiments or radiation rom nuclear/radioactive byproducts.
Are you even aware of what a mutant is in the Marvelverse?
-
In the Marvelverse, a 'mutant' is one who's born with mutated genes giving them superpowers. By that definition, Spider-Man is not a mutant, and if he's a member of the X-Men it's an honorary title at best.

None of the characters are superheroes, they are just vigilantes and mutants. That is the point, so that it would be easier for us to put ourselves in their shoes. I am pretty sure Stan Lee called him a mutant.

... Spider-Man is, and always has been a superhero (Superior Spider-Man notwithstanding) As is Iron Man, Thor, Silver Surfer, Captain America, Daredevil, Dr Strange, The Fantastic Four...

Charlemagneにより編集済み: 3/10/2013 5:37:44 PMI personally don't consider any hero a superhero unless they were born like that. I know it probably doesn't make sense but I only have ever considered character like Superman, Wonder Woman, and others like them. I know that they are all classified as superheroes, but I have always separated them into the categories or Superhero, Vigilante (Accepted and Unaccepted by the public are subcategories), Mutant Hero and Vigilante, and Alien Superhero.

It is clearly difficult to some degree. If he could evade anything then he would never get hurt. The major appeal of Spider-Man is that he can be hurt just like on of us and is one of us in the end. Even if he can do more than we can he is still Peter Parker under the mask.
