If there's one thing we're good at as a species, it's destroying our own environment.
Sometimes I can only see humanity as a parasite swarming all over the Earth.

Eh, we're just changing it. The Earth was a methane-soaked hell-hole before algae came around. We're changing it just like they did. Ultimately it doesn't matter; the Earth is doomed to immolation. Even if we escape, we'll still succumb to entropy.
