It's scary to know that Biden is one corpse away from Presidency.
If Biden became president, I am sure the country would just burst into flames from the stupidity.
What our Vice President is suggesting here is two things. One, take a double Barrel shotgun, and fire BOTH ROUNDS WILDLY INTO THE AIR when someone breaks in. Two, fire that shotgun and commit a crime in just about any city, or suburb in America.
So does that mean what the VP said is precedent for me going out into my backyard and blasting off a couple rounds of #7 Birdshot just to let every criminal in my area know that I am armed?
Will Uncle Joe vouch for us if we did that?
See the two problems here? You just alerted an intruder by firing both shots of your double barrel shotgun. Now you have to take time to reload. On top of that, you just shot what ever shotgun load you have into the air. Those pellets, or even those slugs will come down at some point. If you are in a suburb those pellets will be landing in very close proximity to people, thus the crime part.
We were just told to waste our ammo in a home defense situation, and told to fire blindly into the air.
I am not even going to get into the fact that his Wife and Family is protected by Secret Service with automatic weapons and high capacity Magazines...

I live in such a densely populated area I can't see his suggestion as anything other than totally disturbing. It's a sad thought that the only people who seem to know what they're talking about and are involved in politics are in the NRA.

2 通の返信Biden was put into office to prevent any Americans from getting ideas... No matter if you like obama or not, Biden scares the shit out of you. In essence, he fulfills the same role Dick Cheney did for Bush. "You think the guy in office is bad, his replacement is that much worse."

27 通の返信Where the hell are you getting that? He's saying that no one needs the amount of ammo that comes with an "Assault Rifle" for defense, and that a shotgun has enough firepower and ammo for defending your family itself. And Biden is still miles above Mittens.

The reason is because when you fire straight up, all of the rounds come to a complete stop before coming back down. And the max speed they will reach on a gravity fall won't be enough to hurt anyone. And in the case of handgun/rifle rounds they will tumble and spin during their fall reducing their terminal velocity. For reference I just calculated the terminal velocity of a 9mm round at about ~30mph Where as if you fire a rifle or handgun round at an angle they will retain almost all of their aerodynamic stability. But if you fire at an angle they will retain a dangerous ammount of their velocity as they arc back to the earth. JOE PHYSICS BIDEN WAY TO GO

4 通の返信What I heard from this video: If attacked, I should take a severely limited capacity weapon, go outside and give away my position by firing my ONLY 2 ROUNDS up in the air, possibly endangering anyone within a 1 mile radius from the expelled projectile, and that should protect me... LOLWAT?!?! This is also coming from the man who is protected by Secret service, whom are most likely armed with M4 rifles with multiple full 30 round magazines, other agents with service pistols, as well as a few marksman with Model 700 rifles in .308....... The stupid.... I.... I ca-.... I can't take it......
