So my Dad's mate just gave him a bunch of free Xbox games and Two Worlds was one of them.
I've heard it's awful but has anyone here played it?

Currently stuck on a quest because the game won't load the characters I need to talk to. It's been like that since the game came out. Not to mention the fact that the game was just downright awful even before that. It's good for a free laugh, but I wouldn't spend money on it.

It's like playing a powerpoint presentation filled with "Methinks!" and "Forsooths!" The manual has spelling errors. Combat is twirling a sword around near bad guys, and horse travel is appalling. All set in a world that is such an Oblivion clone, it's ridiculous. I don't like it.

It was that bad, however the frame rate, character models, and voice acting will either make you laugh (at how ridiculous it is) or get really frustrated. It has a variety of enemies and weapons. The inventory system and stacking system is also nice. The magic system is also really good and I heard it was one of the best things in the sequel (two worlds II). Note: If you don't want to break your controller, then don't even try swimming. I don't care if you have to cross a 10 foot river, it will be faster if you go around. (This is of course until you decide to spend points in your swimming skill, which is a waste).

I'm honestly stumped that the company that made the first Two Worlds, blew enough people to make another horrid sequel, Two Worlds 2, and yet, poor studios like Ensemble and other great folks who I can't remember at this time get shut down for making one game that didn't sell a whole lot.
