I stick to whatever is most comedic or interesting, such as running into rooms with a shotgun firing in a way that syncs to the tune of "Banana Phone". as for moral compus, I might as well be in the center of the earth. I shoot through hostages, burst into rooms to only shoot those I'm supposed to save. And if the morally bad choice gives me something cool I'll take it, then turn to the guy giving it to me and bash his head in with it.
Although sometimes I try to be good, does not last.

Yesterday in EVE Someone was being a massive pain in the ass to a friend of mine. So I tracked him down and found him sitting at an asteroid belt in an Orca ( the orca is a cargo / ore hauling ship and fairly expensive ) So I got a lock on him and trapped him there with a warp scrambling device. I then started a private conversation with him and held him ransom by demmanding a payment of 100,000,000 to let him go. 100,000,000 is much less than the cost of his ship so he paid me. I then blew up his ship anyways. #EVE

Not sure if there's a term to describe my moral compass. Try to save the civies. If I can't I won't lose sleep over it, only seek to bring the perp to justice. If said perp is particular nasty, a little humiliation, maybe even street justice instead. Won't endanger the world for the few.

I do whatever happens to benefit my character the most at a given time. Sometimes I'm the good guy, sometimes I'm a complete asshole. In most rpgs with a measuring system I end up being completely neutral. That being said, while I do end up being neutral, I tend to enjoy asshole dialog optipns.

It's safe to say I have only killed innocents a few times in video games. I don't even realize what I'm doing most of the time, I just act on instinct, which is generally being the good guy. One of these days I'm going to have to buckle down and force myself play through an rpg and do all the bad stuff (like blow up Megaton for once..).
