Couple reasons why Rockstar would do this: 1) Let the "video game causes violence" backlash subside. 2) Polish the game as much as possible 3) Finish this console generation strong. This very well could be the final big game before the new consoles release. 4) MOAR PREORDERS It's a sound move on their part, i just wish it was out so i could play it during the summer :/ Ahh well, better waiting for a great, polished game then to recieve a rushed pile of dung. *Stares at halo 4*

I would only care if they release the PC version along the console release. If not, then I don't care about GTA V or Rockstar. I'd pre order the game in a heartbeat. This just shows how Rockstar hates money.

Wait, maybe this means it'll be pushed back to be a next-gen release? If Sony just announced that the PS4 will be revealed in a few weeks, it could be out by the end of the year, if not the start of 2014. It'd make sense for GTA V to hold back until the next gen so that it could have the majority of the market, surely? Saying that, they'd lose a lot of sales from players who don't want to upgrade to the next-gen just yet, so maybe that's just hot air. Guess we'll have to wait and see. But I'll be my local GAME store is angry at the delay. They had the pre-order material out already.

If it gives them extra time to finish off the game I don't really mind. I was a little disappointed when I found this out though.

At least they're taking steps to debug it and add things. Steps 343 clearly should have done.
