I recently replayed Ocarina of Time, and something that struck me was how similar it was to Halo: Combat Evolved. Or, to be precise, vice versa.
Let's examine the evidence, shall we?
Both games begin with an old guy talking with a sparkly blue female person about a certain pressing danger. At the orders of the old guy, a green-clad hero is awakened. The green-clad hero then pairs up with the blue person and goes looking for a weapon.
Presently, the hero and the blue person find themselves in a large open grassy place. Together they embark on an epic adventure, during which they spend an inordinate amount of time looking for keys. On their adventure, they fight many enemies, including lizard men, armoured giants, zombies, and ghosts, with a large variety of weapons, such as bombs and shooty things. The green hero uses shields for defence and frequently meets a huge bird who gives him lifts.
The final boss is a large warthog that causes everything to explode, and the green-clad hero and his sparkly blue platonic female friend escape just in the nick of time.
The similarities are astounding! Did you really think you'd get away with this, Bungie?

1 返信I still don't see how they ripped OOT. 1 Halo's background story isn't based off mythical backgrounds like Zeldas. If you remember the Prophets assumed that the Forunner tech was made by gods which is not the case. The tech was used to cleans the flood and bring back humanity and sentient life. More is explained if you play halo 4 and read Primordium, Cryptum... Zelda the land of Hyrule was made by 3 gods. Each 3 triangular shapes representing a type of power Wisdom, Courage and strength. Three gods created the great land of Hyrule and the powers were hidden within. These powers hold the key the sacred realm similar to the spiritual stones that also represent the 3 gods in OOT. 3 gods known as: Din of Power, Nayru power of wisdom, Farore power of courage. I dont see the similarities. Also read Fall of Reach/First strike and if you need some more incite. :3
