There's a Ghost in my Apartment
Alright, so I've suspected my apartment is haunted for some time now, and I finally had the guts to do an EVP session. I will admit: I'm not a fan of the supernatural. I get freaked out by it, the thought of ghosts and the like. Anyone who knows me will tell you that.
But I sucked it up and did a five minute EVP session because I had felt something push me several times earlier that evening. This was last night, 02/14/2012. After asking it some questions, he responded with the word "stay."
I've nicknamed the entity "Juan", and you'll hear me say it several times in the video.
I'm not making this up. You can see that I was alone in the apartment throughout the entire video.
Please watch. If you think this is fake, or you don't believe it's paranormal, tell me. I hope it's not a ghost, but I fear it is. I'll be doing more investigations after this, to be sure, and posting my findings.

I believe in this sort of thing for sure. I know many people with nothing to gain from saying so, who have shared their stories to me and some are truly incredible. These are quiet, hard working people who definitely are not looking for attention and have probably only told a handful of others in their entire lives. I mean really...the things they've seen would give anyone the creeps. Its human nature to fear the unexplainable and unknown. But when that unknown seems to be threatening or malicious in its intent...that's when your basic human instinct should kick in and tell you to get the hell out of there!

@assassin 11D7 - correct: I've tried to ignore it (as in, not do anything about it) for a bit over a year. Now, though, I'm just about certain there's [i]something[/i] - what, though, is TBD. @Roku XIV - thank you for letting me know you heard it too. I'm trying to get people to share their own thoughts on what I post, to see if there's something I miss or something I mishear. @Ssgt Shapiro - I didn't notice that before. Great find! See, this is why I'm doing this - I want the truth, and I would love it if people helped me out along the way. After further evidence, Shap, I believe that was a car outside. It's different than the humming that I recorded earlier. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, though :) You guys rock. Thanks for keeping interest in what I'm doing, it makes it all the more real knowing there are other people who want to know (or who are at least curious as to whether or not I die a horrific death at the hands of some supernatural thing - come on, I know SOME of you are hoping that!) First, I'm late to the party so I havent read all the replies yet. From what I've read though I have to say that I'm sceptical. * I read something about a daughter. If this thing is "real" or atleast following the generic formula for this type of things she'd probably be the first one to notice stuff. * The whole "my g/f and her father have experience in the field" strikes me as a bit fishy. Kind of like you've been searching for something.

Make you choice.[/quote] I think he did ignore it until recently when it started becoming more active. From what you're saying it should've already gone away. If the ghost is aggressive and means to cause harm, then I don't think it would be not harmful now.

Well, just in case you are genuine with your story: According to Sylvia Brown they are unaware of the fact that they are dead, and you should kindly but firmly tell the "spirit" that it has died and should move on towards the "light". I want to know what's going on in my apartment. I want to discover the truth about the paranormal. And this thread was to invite those who want to do the same to feel free to do so, and have a way to keep up with what's going on. I'm not trying to "promote" this thread by bumping it, I'm just following the conversation and updating whenever I find something interesting that I think people might want to hear.
