BABOON and WEASEL are both connection‑related error codes, usually meaning the game is losing contact with our servers somewhere between your platform/PC, your network, your ISP, and the wider internet. When multiple players see more of them around the same time, it can be a mix of local network issues and temporary routing problems outside of the game.
Please try the following first:
Power cycle your modem/router and your platform/PC (fully shut down, unplug for 1–2 minutes, then restart).
If possible, use a wired connection instead of Wi‑Fi.
Make sure no one else on your network is doing heavy downloads/streams while you’re playing.
Disable any VPNs, firewalls, or security software that might be filtering game traffic, or add exceptions for Destiny 2.
If you can, test a different network (mobile hotspot, another connection) to see if the errors persist.
