Anthem players got strung along with those “Anthem Next” promises. They really had people believing it would turn around like No Man’s Sky.
Then EA pulled the plug, decided it was more financially feasible to let the game flounder and die than spend money on making it a better experience. No guarantees that Anthem Next would bring in more money, just make the people who already owned the game happy.
I don’t know if Sony would be that heartless but everybody who has been informed knows that Sony is not happy with Bungie lately.
It's a great game! You just didn’t play long enough!
Give it 30 hours, then it'll get a lil better......
-Every shill ever.
Edit: Don't take me seriously, I am salty towards Bungie rn.
If anyone enjoys Marathon, more power to ya.
I've never been more apathetic about bungie than I am right now. Truth is I've gone through the stages of love, hate, mourning destiny etc a game that has been a focal part of my life for 12 years & gotten me through some bad times.
Part of me wanted marathon to fail because honestly it's a stupidly bad idea from top to bottom & they deserve to fail, but having seen it & dropped off played destiny almost entirely, it's opened my eyes to how limited they are & how stale destiny is, & has been for many years & how badly they treat their players. I'm seeing the exact same phrases & promises from them about marathon that we've heard for years in destiny, they're actually a lost cause &, incompetent & creatively bankrupt.
I genuinely don't care if marathon sinks or swims, I genuinely don't care if destiny sinks or swims, I'll login occasionally & if it's not there I won't.
