A persons internet can be working fine, but not run well for online multiplayer. I dont know your setup, but speaking from experience, when I had errors it was because of my setup.
ISP modem
Gaming router
port choice
port forward
best DNS
IPv4 and IPv6
Lots of good writeups on the web. The amount of 'information' needed to play online requires an open route to the Game servers. Any 'bottlenecking" of said 'information' and it causes endless error codes. Sometimes it works well, then the bottleneck happens.
Again, I dont know what your setup is, or your gaming system you run. But if any of that stuff you havent heard of, do some searches online. I havent had any problems since, and we run multiple systems through a gaming router.
