I think they may be waiting to see how the Marathon Beta goes before we get a roadmap. Beta does good, destiny delayed. Beta goes bad, shadow not delayed. Probably wrong, but I can't think of another reason not to address anything.

I think it's really simple. They're terrified of ANY bad negativity around the studio which could affect marathon sales & any delay news brings bad social media blowback against bungie & marathon. State of play today will likely reveal the beta date, maybe this weekend or even tonight, & there's been enough movement & rumblings behind the scenes to suggest we get destiny news soon. I think todays twab might be late, & say something like roadmap next week (19th). I think Sony were waiting for marathon pre order numbers to hit yearly studio targets & I believe they hit that recently hence the background movement recently. I expect destiny news tonight. Let's see

Let's see[/quote] Not sure if this is Sony or Bungie but it shows a total lack of respect for a very loyal playerbase, for fear of potentially losing a few marathon sales - disgusting & spineless. It's supposed to release in just over 2 weeks, so its delayed & they're scared to talk about it (see above) because if it wasn't they'd be talking about it. Very disrespectful to everyone concerned. Thing is, everyone knows it's delayed apart from that Megatron guy 😆 & theyre still afraid to admit it.

What makes more logical sense is, they want D2 players to hop on to Marathon without them fighting between Shadow & Order update and Marathons release even though they specifically wanted Marathon to be "not for destiny players" but its honestly the only logical idea. Bad publicity will happen because they have kept D2 in the dark for too long after promising a roadmap for the best part of 6 months ago and still hasnt arrived.

Told you didn't I. Shadow releases in 2 weeks, no mention of a delay but if it wasn't delayed they'd be talking about it & giving people prep time, so it's blatant neglect at this stage - they're absolutely terrified of ANY bad social media presence/comments/negativity. Spineless

You underestimate the amount of vitriol waiting to burst out across social media when the delay is confirmed. You also underestimate the affect social media negativity has on sales. There's also currently a very low destiny playerbase, most of whom they know aren't interested. I thought like you for the longest time & I think that is part of it, but I think it's also that sony only just greenlit another destiny year after marathon pre orders hit targets. We both would be totally wrong btw 😂
