So somehow Durandal was born here... but also SOMEHOW created HERE or the conditions for our reality. Chicken or the Egg. It's that philosophical conundrum. No matter what we do, we cannot end our hell unless Durandal is stopped in Marathon. Who is Robert Blake? AI Leela is AILILIA and she granted the god sparks to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in our game. The Exodus Green came from Marathon's universe. By their very nature they are all cursed and should not be here. If they return, that Universe collapses as it was. And that's why Mara did not return to the "Distributary"... it's why she accepted the 2nd Godspark and became a disciple of the Gardener who is her mother. She does not know this. That the 1st was Osana. And she cursed her... Mara cursed her mother. That curse created Sathona. In a refugee convoy... you would segregate the population. One Ark for the people proper... families, scribes, scientists... mostly... most of the soldiers would be on a different ship. I don't think any of the Arks originated here. Commander Blake was on a different Ark. I think it was predicted before the Exodus, that some of the refugees would become corrupt. Thus a "Failsafe". We had known that Quicksilver Nanites were integral to both the creation of the Cloudstriders and Cloud Ark... but there was a duality there that confused things, it made those implanted in the Cloud Ark immortal... but in Cloudstriders after leaving the Ark... accelerated their mortality.
