I don’t think they get along too well. The gardener is the “growth and preservation of complexity” and savathun is Queen of Lies, Schemes, and Convolution. She is the only being I am aware of who planned to become a light bearer. She is one of those who were to be chosen by the Traveler on her home world, before the Witness intervened. The Winnower is the principle perpetuator of the Sword Logic which, unlike Oryx and Xivu Arath, Savathun has moved away from. She’s praised Luzaku for being able to understand that the hive can be more than tithes, and acting independently. Savathun has been dissallusioned to “senseless violence”, and is trying to grow her brood to be more than her, instead of it existing to feed and prove her strength. This shift toward separate and free wills within her brood marks a dramatic departure from the winnows goal of one -blam!- hive mind. (Bc vex were always the end of the game) While she seems to not align with the winnower, I think it appreciates anything that exists and survives. But she is looking to escape the game the winnower plays. I think that can probably only happen when the game ends, or by breaking some essential part of it. (Very abstract, im not sure what that would mean for the universe)
