Dungeons and raids

Bungie. please fix all dungeons and raids so that all have TiERED ITeMS you have basically vaulted everyone( well you might as well of done) i and a huge amount of your player base enjoy running through and taking new players for clears but at the moment there's hardly any point to doing it please please please fix this

  • Updating old raid armor to tiered and having set bonuses would be nice. However I see no reason to turn the weapons into tiered when they're already craftable. I see a lot of enthusiasm from LFGs for getting weekly red borders or the occasional drop from an encounter. Encourages them to stay through the raid instead of dipping after one encounter. Many of the weapons could use a perk update. More than anything raids and dungeons should have the ability to select if you get armor or weapons. I have heard hundreds of LFGs disappointed or flat out angry they got nothing but low stat armor for doing a raid. Spending spoils at the end to buy what you want mainly only benefits players like me(who dont need the loot) and creates another obstacle for players starting raiding which have barely any spoils.

  • Sane regular Joe: "Give RAD content T5 treatment and instantly create plentiful endgame content." Bungie: "What?" Sane regular Joe: "Put Iron Banner on a bit more and a bit of SIVA in the game during a season with Iron Banner/Iron Lords themes" Bungie: "Nah"

    Won't be enough to bring players back to that content to farm unless bungie stop catering to streamers and make it so normal difficulty drops tier 5 armor/ weapons, harder difficulties shouldn't determine tiers especially for raids and dungeons, thats what seals are for You'd of thought by now bungie would of realised this since they have bled about 90% of the playerbase slowly since enemies 2.0 lol until the numbers the game has now

    Should have been priority #1 to get old raid and dungeon loot updated asap after the tier 5 update. They will eventually probably update the loot pools and work everything into the portal but watch it take YEARS. Seriously RaD gets by far the most attention and creative freedom, bungie knows they are the experiences that their game is all about. And they just spent like an entire year rolling out updating all of the old raids' loot pools to the crafting system.... only to make it all obsolete again. Best case in recent memory of this game missing total layups on things that you would think would be a no brainer, and it feeling like the game is directed on 3 month timelines that no one can see past.

  • What is the point. Really what is the point of them being teir 5. Unless they update the loot pool which they already did. There’s not much more those weapons need.

    • It is not a "fix" it would be an update. If anything needs to be changed with those older Raids and Dungeons, it is their armor sets. Their stats are still in the 2.0 version but with much much worse stats.

    • I’d like to see the older dungeons get some updates, but I don’t think we need tons of raid updates yet. I’d maybe pick 2 raids (RoN and Vow maybe?) and do the update there first. Then make the dungeon updates more frequent starting with Grasp and working its way up to newer raids. I’d also like to see complete overhauls of Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresy to put them on par with more modern raids, and I’d give them their own new dedicated loot pools.

    • Yes and no. I agree, everything in the game should be kept up to date and relevant. But at the same time, how many refreshes of the VOG weapons is it going to take until we're tired of grinding VOG? We've already had to grind VOG weapons four times since the raid first dropped, you really wanna go for a fifth?

      agree, but some weapons need perk upgrades, but i think bungie priority will not be there for obv reasons, before that they need to fix armor farming, exotics armors and endgame having not unique rewards.
