They are so monotonous and boring now. I miss all the strikes we lost prior to season of arrivals. I want to play them so badly. But something further: in D1 they started doing something in strikes which they carried over to D2 initially and that was random force composition. In Arms Dealer sometimes it would just be Cabal, others there would be war going on between them and the fallen. Pyramidion would sometimes vex or taken, Savathun’s Song would be Hive, fallen or a mixture of the two. We need all our strikes back, in a proper strike playlist without rehashed battlegrounds and other stuff like that and with the random enemy force composition returned. It’s what made strikes so replayable and the bread and butter of destiny for years! I miss it terribly…

5 通の返信This is precisely what went wrong with the whole concept of Destiny. The Space Magic disappeared completely with the demise of D1 and the arrival of D2. It's not about nostalgia, missing the old version, the old version is just better by far, it's a unique experience that was never replaced by the greed and lack of foresight due to the changes in Bungie staff. Losing voice actors like Nathan Fillion signalled what was coming. Losing numerous strikes and worlds Content depleted Destiny further. Less Content, less adventure, less humour, just less of everything replaced by the repetitive season system, endless grind influenced by agencies other than you or me. I play the game, but nowhere near as much as before. In its current format it's going to fail. It's been failing for a long time now . It's just sickening, over 10 years to reach this stale imitation of what was was once a world beater game.

I just realized ever since they started skimping out on strikes was when I basically stopped playing Destiny 2 as a “main game” and treated it as a story game. They basically replaced strikes with dungeons and seasonal activities.

3 通の返信The heroic playlist as it was at the end of D1 was about as good as it got. All strikes in there, strike specific loot and modifiers that were randomly assigned to each strike as they loaded up.

6 通の返信Been playing D1 recently & the strike playlist has 4 variants. Had an absolute blast in the Siva Crisis strikes over the weekend & the number of new players is so exciting. Taniks has no house, Omnigul shrieks, the Shield Brothers rip, the Nexus Mind still whoops & the invincible Ogre still chases me down in the Plaguelands.. Stonking strikes 🥰

1 返信What’s strikes haven’t played them in years no incentive to do so, the only time I used to do strikes awhile ago was to do bounties on pathfinder, and that was with date changing so I was on my own.

6 通の返信If I’m reading this correctly, you want Bungie to recycle more old & nostalgic content. Yeah, I can see why Bungie decided to make Marathon now.

Half the strikes aren’t strikes. In destiny 1 all strikes tied into the story or were their own separate story. Now it’s just prove nothing and do nothing and get boring loot. I like destiny 2 but it needs to mix old and new

If we are looking at GM tier strikes, I would want to reduce the variables than have RNG enemy options. They have started adding MVP enemies, and they can spawn in the GM Vanguard Alerts, which can totally throw the run away when you encounter them and need to spend the extra time with them to risk not dyeing. With other warring enemy factions randomly being thrown into a strike, you may not have the resists needed to spec for those enemy types. Not an issue at base level, but now everything is -30 to -50, and I would rather not have to launch the mission multiple times to get one where there are no RNG factions added to the mission.

Bungie added all those Heist and Psion things that diluted the Playlist and made it worse by removing all the good strikes. Then to add insult to injury they occasionally bring back an old strike but re-do with stupid -blam!- mixed in.
