Bungie we all know you don't care about PVP, but honestly this is getting ridiculous now.
Your lack of care is hurting the game more than you can probably imagine, you know that most of your concurrent players are spending their time in PVP activities and running into cheaters is becoming a more and more common occurrence.
They way you guys take action is just simply not fast enough, with the amount of cheaters that I myself run into and report there should be a nice message saying that action has been taken every single time I log in. BUT EVEN IF that was the case, banning their accounts is just simply not enough. YOU NEED TO START BANNING IP's AND BAN HARDWARE.
I am sharing this picture to show the attitudes that you are cultivating amongst your community. Cheater know that if their accounts get banned, it does not matter they will just create another on and be back on the game in a matter of minutes.
Player population is so low that you get "mongoose" errors back to back when looking for a comp game, and when you finally find one you run into people like this... Bungie you are the architect to your own demise by allowing this conduct to continue to take place.

They have never once given any indication that pvp was ever or will ever be the main focus of the 90% pve game.
Your lack of care is hurting the game more than you can probably imagine, you know that most of your concurrent players are spending their time in PVP activities and running into cheaters is becoming a more and more common occurrence.
Most of their concurrent players definitely aren't in pvp. There is always far more players in pve activities. A large portion of the playerbase doesn't even touch pvp. You can also just report people and if they actually are cheating then they get banned. And they aren't just going to insta ban someone just because you reported them. If you aren't getting the message saying how someone you reported got banned, then they most likely weren't cheating and simply just played better than you. People who need to cheat are always going to exist and just like them, there are always going to be people who falsely claim others cheated just because they beat said person. Pvp also wont be the demise of a game that has never once focused on pvp. Your also acting like any game in existence has ever been able to stop 100% of the cheaters.

1 返信
YOU NEED TO START BANNING IP's AND BAN HARDWARE.
I understand you are frustrated like many players but I really wish players would stop calling for things they do not understand. IP bans are ineffective in gaming. I can change IP address with one click, many providers cycle IPs daily or on power-on for customers. Both BattlEye and Bungie already bans hardware IDs however most serious cheaters are using a HWID spoofer to give false serials. AC finds a way around or new ways to identify, spoofer makers adapt. What I will say is that Destiny 2 should be using machine learning on the server end to detect anomalous gameplay(unlimited heavy, too many supers, impossible/improbable coordinates, etc). But Destiny 2 has no full time security team.

Sure, it's not the most ignorant belief people have displayed on the forums but it's easy to check. Allowing this conduct? Do governments or authorities of communities allow murder? If your answer is No, then why does the crime still happen?
