Invadable patrol spaces
I like the concept of The Lawless Frontier and wondered if the invasion aspect could be transferred to patrol spaces (current ones and/or future ones).
Keep invasions entirely optional and make that information much clearer and easier to understand (there’s been a lot of confusion over this in Renegades).
I’d also prefer the option for no Renegades abilities (I’m assuming they’ll stay restricted to Renegades content anyway).
I’d like to see more patrol spaces in the future - they’re fun areas that appeal to a wide range of players and I think invasions could add even more value to them.

1 返信Why would you want invasion in a Patrol Area with OTHER players. That's such a bad idea. Go play Gambit.

2 通の返信Only if it’s COMPLETELY optional and the SAME loot exist in BOTH. Absolutely NO special loot for the invade one. Not even cosmetics. It would exist just for people that want that open world zone to hunt others. That’s it.

1 返信This isn’t something that I’d be interested in at all. However I could support it so long as it’s completely optional and didn’t restrict ‘no invasion’, PvE exclusive access to any patrol zones at any time. Locking any patrol zone to ‘invasions are ON’ at any time without the ability to turn invasions off wouldn’t be something I could support in any way.

1 返信Simply wouldn't work. There's not even enough invaders playing frontiers - my last 2 contested games for contracts only saw an invader with 2-3 mins left, a few weeks ago it was almost instant you got invaded. Patrols are now also legacy content so receive no support & if the rumours are true we may not get anymore support period, sooner than people think.

5 通の返信I would 100% F with invadable patrol zones. I just barely started doing renegade’s invasions this week, and it’s so much fun. Even after the red crystal drops for me, I’m still gonna go mess peoples’ day up lol It’s actually been a great place for me to practice sniping.

1 返信I agree more needs to be done with the existing patrol spaces. I’m not sure invasions in patrol is it but that’s certainly one idea and that’s better than nothing. Here are my ideas -Bring back destination flashpoints -add expert patrol (-10 delta) -refreshed existing and new public events such as world bosses, and making the “ enemy moving against each other” event into a full fledged public event. -reprised destination armor and world drop weapons

1 返信Optional is a mandatory prerequisite, but I don’t have faith in Bungie doing that. With their disregard for public patrol destinations in recent expansions and DLCs, I could see them screwing up existing public patrol by making them always have invasions. Like others have said, I would prefer to have Bungie actually update old public patrol locations and give us new ones to chill in and have fun. Such a shame that there wasn’t an optional public patrol in the most recent destinations.

What we really need are patrol spaces with better opportunities for public event activities. I enjoy public events or Altars of Sorrow because it’s just fun to slay out with randoms. Last thing I want is some griefer wandering patrol spaces killing people who are farming materials, getting kills for contracts, working on masterworks, or just goofing off.

Well unless they are the new areas such as the Lawless Frontier - opps already there and as it should be, as in not in patrol zones but I wish it had some in a shareable open world! As well as in Kepler and the Pale Heart. Each are beautiful and fun locations but not so fun as you are the lone player there. Why the living D-hell do we not have this as open "SHARED" patrol zoned areas?!?!? Oh yeah Bungo servers and dev's both of which are extremely inadequate for their respective jobs!

2 通の返信As long as there's an option to turn off invasion. I roll around the Moon & Cosmo jus doing patrols & being in the world for it's tone & atmosphere. I don't like the idea of someone with Icebreaker jus sitting on a spot griefing ppl for the giggles.

3 通の返信If Bungie could be trusted to not lock things behind the invadable version in order to keep it populated and to keep a sufficient crop of casuals for the sweats to farm, then maybe. The Trials Loot Pool and drop rate of the Red Crystal tells me they still can't (although we should also face the fact that enough of the soul-less money-grubbers are still left there that if the Red Crystal [i]weren't[/i] gated behind -blam!- odds PvP drops, it would be Eververse....).
