Kicked at the end of a Grand Master Vanguard Alert
As titled, posted out of sheer frustration.
Used fireteam finder to find a group to do the Grand Master Exodus Crash with. Played with them all the way to the final boss. We were moments from delivering the final blow and then for reasons I cannot comprehend the fireteam leader kicked me out. Potentially did it to the other teammate as well, no way of knowing.
It’s incredible to me that a unilateral kick function would be available to the fireteam leader so deep into the run. Completely against the fireteam finder code of conduct. Surely we can do better about protections for this scenario?
Content like this is time consuming and difficult, and certainly the fireteam leader benefitted from the presence of other players. Please add a kick lock for late in activities. Thank you.

3 通の返信damn so sad, that type of players should get at least 1 month ban, yeah kick lock at the last checkpoint should be a thing, This is the reason why i'm always the fireteam leader when i use fireteam finder in that way 0 players are getting randomly kicked

2 通の返信Going to happen eventually with private fireteams, Fireteam leaders have too much power in Destiny All other multi-player games that I'm aware of don't have the option to kick

6 通の返信The flip side of that is people afk or throwing and getting rewards you earned for them. I don't want them to remove the kick feature AT ALL. Sucks this happened to you, legit. Host your own team next time, not a perfect solution. But I'd argue there really isn't a perfect solution here regardless.

1 返信Happened to me when the new season launched in the story - got kicked for no reason. Never again using Fireteam finder for big missions like these. Sorry this happened to you.

Thank you.[/quote] I'm not saying this didn't happen but I've been kicked for Internet reasons and the message pops up that the fire team leader kicked me. This has also has happened to buddies of mine too. Again I'm not saying so jerk off didn't kick you but I've seen what I've said happen many times. The message when you hit orbit I think is the same regardless unless its the specific error code message. Either way I'm sorry this has happened

1 返信Setup your own fireteam next time using fireteam finder (I did that today) we finished grandmaster exodus crash with 5 minutes left (no mics / and one player in our fireteam didn’t even know what was happening / so practically we finished grandmaster exodus as a duo while carrying a blueberry with no mics). But most of all… as a fireteam leader you’re in control from start to finish (that way everyone gets the rewards and nobody is kicked out).

1 返信Crappy that happened, I’ve always said once the encounter has started there needs to be a lock out for booting till rewards pop . The only time you should be able to boot is in between encounters.

2 通の返信That's awful. While there are good people in the community, theres also a bunch of bratty Kool-Aid lipped children that roam around getting giggles from griefing. Like the other person said, make your own listing from now on. Bungie needed to implement something to prevent this ages ago.
