Lower the difficulty. If you are playing for fun, the rewards shouldn't matter.
If rewards matter, then you have to earn them by doing difficult things.

You don't earn Destiny rewards simply by purchasing the game. Some rewards [i]are[/i] earned through battle pass, which is where that is the case, but the majority are earned by completing the quest/bounty/activity that is needed to earn it. It's a game, and there are ways to simply have fun, and ways to challenge yourself. This is the way.
