Portal Difficulty ramped up...why?? WTH
Ok I am casual player, Solo portal has become a total drag with the increased difficulty. I want to come in and play and hour or two and enjoy. Not get blasted every turn I take. In Edge of Fate that was possible. With the changes you have made to difficulty and scoring this is no longer fun. Weekly goals are only possible if want to grind multiple hours a day. You want to know why this game is dying. You keep catering to the top 5% of the game and leaving the rest behind.

It’s not just the portaloo stuff, it’s the same all over! The Neomuna Overtuna vibe reigns supreme, and a veritable handful of the players crave more… The rest of us, are voting with our feet…or simply not engaging with large portions of the game. We keep shouting to BHQ that we don’t like the N.O. vibe, but they simply ain’t listening. Alienating a majority of your customers is not a recipe for success. 👈 But, nvm…BHQ has been trying to throttle that golden goose since way back…and this new team seems to be working just as hard to do the same. That is all. Ease Things…🙄

1 返信I'm not the most skilled player either, and I understand the overwhelming nature of all the crazy modifications and difficulty spikes throughout the portal. However, I have slowly crept from 150 light to 400 light and had a lot of fun doing so, simply by doing the normal campaign by myself and playing the Lawless Frontier on Expert. Master is still kinda tough for me at 400 light, and Grandmaster is beyond belief. But, as I said before, you can still slowly progress power and play at lower levels and have lots of fun. If you need some tips throwing together a quick build that synergies pretty well together and isn't difficult to understand, I can try to send you some links. I have a couple that I found online years ago that are still pretty nice.

All the while 99% of us that watch such things are there for the info as their "opinions" are those of people already deep in the game and on a constant drip feed of nothing but games all day to monetize their channel content. This simple minded, idyotic approach is what Bungie ABSOLUTELY refuses to comprehend. You can't fix this game with THAT LEVEL of tunnel vision. Just never gonna happen. Halo was made BY gamers FOR gamers and these jokers think they are just herding sheep. Dum, dum and dum.

Forget about Onslaught, I’ve loaded in a couple time using Matchmaking on Ultimate and we never made it passed de first boss. And everyone was GR9 or above with decent build. On Reddit there are similar threads were many people experienced the same thing. Whether on purpose or not, it just feels bad and it will eventually kill post honeymoon buzz if it’s not fixed.

Posted about this several times. Bungie believes that reaching a certain level means that you are also a certain level of skill. I am not an ‘ultimate’ player, nor am I a ‘grandmaster’ or even an ‘expert ‘. Hell, I struggle to consider myself ‘advanced ‘, but since there isn’t a level called ‘Dogs-doggy-do dah’, I am what I am… but I can’t do much at all solo and just embarrass myself in a game that should be chilled fun.

4 通の返信It's not just the Portal. The new Lawless Frontier is just as bad. I'm at 550 and the first few days I was clearing these activities. Now I am just getting melted despite almost 200 health. Something is up with the damage inflicted because getting 7 damage for a hit is way off against me losing 20% of my health from one hit by a red bar at the other side of the map. Taking six or seven hits to kill a red bar with the light sabre. All Bungie did is once again speed up the mobs of triple shielded overpowered enemies, then make them teleport faster. Fallen Captains run backwards faster than my Titan runs forward. It's ridiculous. This game is no longer fun. I would rather take a dump in my hands and clap than waste anymore time in the Reef, sorry, Lawless Frontier.

Because Bungo is doing everything they can to remove the fun from the game and destroy it. This has been going on since EOF yet they still haven't removed the moddifers for us, you have to turn it down and earn nothing. This will be a gaming industry case study for how to totally screw up a game.

2 通の返信Pre Renegades 550 on solo ops base was around a B with limited revives and locks. Now its barely a C. Forcing us to add more modifiers to get that B+ range. Its fuken stupid. Nothing has changed nor did we get and stronger between "expansions." I add exhaust and a bane for solo ops and knock them out that way.....

7 通の返信I hovered over the artifact and noticed damage resistance was at 1%, even tho I have all tier 5 armor. Maybe that has something to do with it

1 返信I saw my DR is only 1% I am wondering if that is why I get hurt so bad from red bars! I have played ultimate two weeks ago and just this week and there is a difference.

I feel this... season feels off... slower less rewards for the same activities as before... Could previous get at least one T5 in a run in a reasonable time... now it's a grueling crawl for T4 or t3 rewards that will be mostly junked so why punish myself for something I wouldn't use? Spending an hour hiding to plink everything to death just complete one mission is not reasonable or fun..
