Can you blame him? I’ve quit multiple missions where we ran out of lives because limited revives is a thing now. Bungee has lost all touch with its fan base and they’re going to get rage quitter because they burned their fan base so much. You know that if you play a game for multiple years and really enjoyed it and saw it go downhill you would quit at some point unwillingly.
I just can’t imagine being so angry at a game that I would quit after clearly not understanding a puzzle. People complain the game has mechanics too easy and the second they try something new people quit?
Taking it out of context can make it confusing. I understand what you’re saying completely, and agree with you to a point. However, it’s just like being in an abusive relationship, you can only stay in it for so long before you quit that. This is the relationship that bungee has instilled in its fan base. When you begin to lose patience with something, it doesn’t take much for the littlest thing to set you off.
I’d consider myself a pretty hardcore Destiny player but the fact people call it an abusive relationship is crazy. It’s a game, play it, have fun, and if you’re not having fun then by all means quit. It’s very weird to rage quit on a very simple puzzle though
Maybe abusive is a bit dramatic, but given the numbers have dropped off so significantly I’m not sure what other word to use other than bungees, inability or unwillingness to listen to what their fanbase has to say. I mean that in a way it’s abusive. Telling someone what you’re OK or not OK with and they disregard it is technically abusive.
