R3 is horrible prock on controller
So, with remapping melee and sprin on controller?t and hold crouch and.... now recapping R3 guess I can't emote? Sheesh. This game may just be outgrowing consoles? Or a $300 controller just to play a game?
Problem is ding whenever I touch R3. Was this tested?

2 通の返信You can set stuff to tap and set emotes to hold. I have transcendence,finisher and renegade abilities to tap and hold for emotes

It was annoying for me at first too since I have crouch and class ability tied to R3, I remapped it to work with circle and have it as long press since normal press is my finisher, works well now with no issues that's my fix if you wanna try it.

While R3 is indeed a bad map for them to put tactical on, are you really using all 4 emotes at every point of your run? If its that important to you, i saw someone else recommend setting the tactical to tap while setting your emote to hold.

I swapped up on the D pad with an emote. Some of the time, trying to proc Prismatic, I'd go into that menu, and with muscle memory, throw an ability down. Horrible design. I'll probably start dancing when i go for a finisher now.

You are assuming that Bungie plays this game. That's probably wrong. They have probably outsourced the testing to some coconut country and gave them a discreet checklist to test. That's the quality of this game now.

2 通の返信I just mapped it to down on D pad. When are you ever gonna be desperate for an emote slot in that particular activity. Never.

4 通の返信I mapped it to long press. It’s called “action skill” in the settings; it’s at the very bottom. My friend told me about this today and I started to enjoy the activity because of it.

The renegades ability is the very last option if trying to map it to a separate button, hope this helps guardian 🫡🍻 Played green thumb x bumper jumper and old school southpaw from goldeneye days lol

4 通の返信dbl tap reload isn't bad either... no penalty. You lose one emote. How often do you emote in PvE?
