I played legendary campaign, i soloed it. and It was new in some way and good but both hyped boss died like you melt cheese.
But is this all there is?
Grind day and night for "credit" to level up factions?
Exotic mission done but nothing more.
To me it looks like now its catered to low light players so they have things to chase.
Im 550 and im only left with keep grinding lawless frontiers over n over for nothing.
Buffed up the abilities but to what purpose, master quest are bugged.
Anything to give players XP is killed.
On paper it might been a good idea but actual gameplay needed bounties to complete like in d1. I know we have new kind of bounties which turn from blue to legends to exotic. But give new exotics you already have. Even the new exotic keys to open certain doors give you same exotic drop nothing more.
Calling people over to test this but game has bugs and I question to me what would they be testing if not the game.

2 通の返信Mark, Scholar of Starsにより編集済み: 12/6/2025 9:54:20 AMI think it's time to let it go. Bungie's already on the ground. And you don't kick on someone who's already there. Destiny 2 was exploited for years. Who did take benefit of that should be clear. I have played the game since the beginning of year one (of Destiny 2). I always bought the full DLC, like "Destiny 2: Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition." But this time, I didn't make it count. I couldn't motivate myself. There are too many changes, and I think the last nail in my Destiny 2 coffin was the current changes in the "Portal" with his FOMO* agenda now. It's just too radical and other-directed. The time management I had available is gone. The new "order" system took that away. Now, I don't even have the time to finish the "reward pass," because I can't log in every day. In addition, it comes that daily bounties are less, which leaves the impression that Bungie wants to throttle XP and redirect one to a daily use of the "Portal." One doesn't have to do that. I'm my own master, not Bungie. I haven't finished 101 to 110 of the "Ash & Iron" reward pass because 500,000 XP for one track is simply too much, and this time I will not even finish 1 to 100. To me, it looks like Bungie's "desperate" attempt to create daily ingame numbers. Going on with such an agenda, it will be at least interesting to see how they want to be successful with Marathon. Edit: *Fear of missing out

2 通の返信Given the pattern from EoF, I'm sure we are going to be getting a steady stream of events, each with loot to chase, achievements to be attained, and so forth. That, along with a steady diet of comp and trials will be enough for me.

5 通の返信Sounds like maybe you and a few other people need to learn to pace yourselfs, because believe me when I say the only people who care that you get something done first is you nobody else does. Me personally I still have plenty to do because guess what... that's right, I Pace myself. If you and the rest of people like you sit there and rush through things and then just can't find anything else to do well quite frankly that is a you problem not a bungie problem. That is 100% a you problem because you cannot exercise self-control and restraint and pace yourself.. 😌👍

5 通の返信https://www.bungie.net/7/en/News/Article/renegades_launch_blog This should answer any questions for those who can’t use common sense or refuse to actually look at the updates Bungie freely post everywhere. However if you can’t read, I really hope that’s the case with the usual anti Bungie post, then all this is for nothing and all I’ll get is a bunch of whinny trolls trying their best to insight some rage among the more educated on here.

I remember not long ago when players complained, oh no how are we ever going to get to 500 before Renegades? Then Bungie provided levell 5 loot drops to expedite the path not just to 500, but to 550. Then rveryone was upset about a level reset for Renegades and then Bungie changed their mind. So a lot of people started the new season at 500-550 and breezed through the content and now complain it's too easy. What next? Bungie will do like it's always done in the past, increase the difficulty of future activites to appease the try hards while the casuals and newbies hit the skill wall and go down in flames. Same as it ever was. ...and people are dumbfounded as to why the player base keeps shrinking?

Scenario: If Bungie made dungeons and other side-quest activities that were challenging such as needing to solve a progressively difficult puzzle (that could change the next time you run it fresh) as opposed to running it over and over again, would this cure the "grind boredom"? You'd grind less, but the puzzle would start off easy, then get really really hard by the time you reach the end of the quest/dungeon. Kinda like the Niobe Labs puzzle from the Black Armory expansion (ignoring the bug and community-wide lockout of content). From Google: "The Niobe Labs puzzle was intended as a community-wide challenge to unlock the final Black Armory forge, Bergusia, for all players. The challenge required teams to complete complex, multi-stage ciphers and platforming sections using clues derived from sources like French songs, classical poetry, and the real-life historical sword of Charlemagne." Thoughts?

Make kids, they give me plenty of shitty side quests all day: « stop a fight over control of the remote », « prevent nose from being picked while eating »… So when I logged in D2 with little to no time left, it doesn’t feel that bad :)
