So themed DLC's are coming to D2
So, Star Wars theme huh so Star Trek and other themes that are space or Alien themed DLC's are coming soon to D2 I like the idea but how long will it last till people are board of it. The community should be involved in content and other ideas also, but the real question is it in the end.

And Now they look more like “Fortnite” (from inspired armored sets like Assassin Creed, The Witcher, Mass Effect…and let’s not forget the “Destiny 1&2” characters sold in “Fortnite” 2024). “Bungie” lost their way.

4 通の返信I think it’s fitting, both IP’s are run by ppl who ignore their fanbase and then wonder why their franchise is dying lol. At least Bungie hasn’t resorted to blaming D2 players for its problems, I can’t say the same about Disney and Star Wars smh. As an 80’s kid I’ll admit Renegades does look like fun, but I really don’t think it’s going to save D2. Using a dying IP to save another dying IP is an interesting strategy.

I hope there aren’t any more - I’m not a fan of IP crossovers. The Star Wars one is just about passable because it fits - it’s been an inspiration for Destiny. From what I saw on the trailer and vidoc, they’ve done a decent job of not going overboard with it.

7 通の返信Renegades is a Star wars inspired expansion that Bungie is doing to pay homage to Star wars because it's what inspired them to create Destiny. They will not be doing other themed expansions in the future.

I agree, though if Bungie is being ballsy with crossovers they ought to use whatever power they have left to force a halo crossover somehow that would actually do well and turn heads even more. Just straight up killing the covenant like some beasts it would be great(:

This really seems like a one off just cause of how much inspiration Destiny already drew from star wars.

I already have a full time job. So, i want Bungo to have a decent team to show us creativity and entertainment best way they can

Funny that a lot of players didn’t seem to mind that Season of the Haunted was essentially Destiny meets Dead Space… I get that Star Wars isn’t the most popular IP even among sci-fantasy fans right now, but you can’t deny that Destiny has been heavily inspired by it in the past and this is just an opportunity for them to do it without being sued (again). I wouldn’t mind a Tron collaboration for a Vex expansion next tbh.
