Destiny 2 no longer a game
Come on Bungle. Do you really want your older gamers rage quitting so that you can pander go the younger players, bearing in mind Destiny 2 players should be over 18.
Most gamers play Destiny and Destiny 2 to unwind after a stressful day at work NOT to have added stress from glitches which you keep telling gamers you'll fix but don't give a timescale when that fix will happen. Through past experience the fictitious fix never happens.
Before the trolls start telling me to play a other game, plain and simple I enjoy playing Destiny, or used to before you lost your direction.
It is as if you don't want to run Destiny 2 anymore and you are doing your utmost to suck the fun out of the game and as your old faithful players over the years leave, you can give the new none long stay players a crap, less than shadow of the game. The definition of the word game is fun and Destiny 2 definitely doesn't come under that definition anymore.

Yeah, they definitely killed the casual gamers off. I was one of those casuals for a long time spending hours doing spin metal, helium coil, or the material you got from Mars, running around collecting stuff with my friends, just chilling out, doing a bounty, doing a mission or a a strike in D1, or just trying to climb to the top of stuff to see if there was a secret. Full raid team got together twice a week for VoG, and used to have a blast with sherpa-ing if we never got a full team. I was forever 29, but still did hard mode VoG on release. They lost me at Lightfall, when the game massively increased in difficulty and grind, and became more infuriating than fun. With the portal there is no chance of me coming back to what I can only describe as like being the fat kid in gym class. All this was predictable at the dev stream before EoF launch, and now its a player engagement farm, played until players burn out.

4 通の返信I believe that an internal memo was leaked about Bungle not wanting older players. A smart CEO would realize that older players have more disposable income, but we're talking Bungle execs.

longevityにより編集済み: 11/14/2025 6:16:13 PMthe new players aren't staying either buddy, we're at less than half the player population we had during the dead period before EoF even released what is mind boggling is how many times they keep backpeddling system designs, it's like they aren't even trying to understand how these systems will be received or the decision makers is just surrounded by an echo chamber of people saying yes it's great none of the blowback is surprising, even the call to arms design was obviously going to get huge blowback there is no way the ground level team of bungie is this out of touch, it's gotta be some out-of-touch boss pushing this stuff and they're all scared of saying it's bad

But that idiot with the IQ level of a potato has a lot of inluence on people that watch the potato brain . What inluence has the hard working dad ? Its not like he is promoting the game like a dayjob to get paid and make a living . He is just playing the game to have fun brother . Who is playing games these days to have fun , am i right ? Streamers ruined gaming by gaming like a dayjob , so sad that they don't realize it themselves . Sad , very sad ...
