I logged into my PlayStation figured well I can atleast play on my PlayStation account and the account that’s on my PlayStation is neither my brothers or mine just a random account not mine or his. Honestly this just sickens me lost 8 years of hard work and bungie is really thinking why are we losing so many players this is why stuff like this

ADragonWithinにより編集済み: 11/9/2025 4:08:49 AMYou currently don't appear to have Cross-Save enabled, and Cross-Save does not move or merge any data whatsoever, it simply allows you to load one set of save data on another platform. Disabling Cross-Save doesn't leave the save data on the other platform; it returns back to only being able to be accessed on the platform it is attached to. If you're logging in on your Playstation and not seeing your Playstation save data, you'll need to log out and log in using your PSN ID, as the only reason you'd see someone else's save data is if you're not logged in using your PSN ID, but are logging in with theirs instead.

I’ve only had one psn account and the one I’m logged into is my account. Which has none of my saved items but when i go on the destiny app and select my brothers account my characters and items are on his account not my psn account. I don’t know when I accidentally licked my psn account to my brothers and it accidentally got transferred but long story short on my psn account where I played for 8 years is gone and replaced with this random account.

ADragonWithinにより編集済み: 11/10/2025 8:59:33 PMIt sounds like while Cross-Save were active, the Xbox account was the main save data, and that'd be why everything is there. Disabling Cross-Save returned that save data to only being available on the Xbox. As I mentioned before, Cross-Save does not move or merge anything, it simply allows you to load one set of save data on a different platform, so when it's disabled, that save data doesn't remain on that other platform, it just returns back to where it was and is only available there. If you're using your PSN ID, then the Playstation save data you see now was your Playstation save data prior to Cross-Save being enabled. Unfortunately, there is no way to move the save data from your brother's Xbox account to your Playstation account. You'd need to re-enable Cross-Save in order to access that save data on the Playstation. There are no other options.
