could we not make the lightsaber the dungeon exotic
TLDR at the bottom if your lazy
guaranteed gonna sound like a broken record but if the stupid rumors are true that the lightsaber is gonna be a dungeon exotic that’s how your gonna lose some players interest actually
i really think it should’ve like that worm exotic quest instead where you grab it from conclave actually
as much as you desperate difficulty enjoyers thirst and thrive i really think your missing what could maybe make a player happy instead of just about you
i’ll do the dungeon but ill be sad others can’t acquire it if it’s gonna be locked behind a dungeon and make it less fun doing because people have to learn dungeon mechanics
and not everyone is unemployed too or a streamer
id rather hear good feedback from the community instead of hearing how hard the drop rate is of a exotic weapon is trifling chances at fun stuff
TLDR; the lightsaber should be a exotic mission over a dungeon

You know they will, just to get the players in. I'm holding out hope that since it is craftable, it'll be either a mid campaign mission (we need this weapon to beat the big bad), an end of campaign reward where we steal it from the big bad, or a post campaign reward where we take it from the big bad and purify it, hence why our Praxic Blade is a combination of Light and Darkness.

2 通の返信I admit I just cannot be bothered any longer with their puzzles and dancing around during dungeons… I haven’t even done the last couple, too longwinded . More think like myself now… they need to sort it out, the first dungeon was cool but they gradually made them more if a chore . They can stick the light Saber.

1 返信Star Wars, I will not be grinding a dungeon repeatedly once a week on each character hoping for a drop I just won’t play with a dungeon and just stick with PVP I barely care about this game anymore

Its all coming back to bite them in the backside now though. With the low numbers. All I can say is remember this company for future reference. They don't care about the players and only care about the profits. EDIT Wait till players can't get it in the dungeon as its a low drop rate. I'm calling it now.

Destiny players have a serious problem with having to play ALL of the content to get ALL of the rewards. Back then in games like Smash Bros Melee, Timesplitters 2, or Majora's Mask, if you wanted all the characters, levels, items etc. you sucked it up and got it done. Suddenly, gamers are whiny and can't cope and it's honestly just sad. You are paying for the expansion. Play the content. Use fireteam finder. Getting carried is easy af. You are caving before you even know how it plays. [spoiler]God, i feel old now.[/spoiler]

2 通の返信If you can't handle doing a simple dungeon, you don't need the exotic. This is the exact same scenario as dual destiny. You want all the things, but don't wanna have to do anything to get them, and that's not how this works.

Typical Bungie MO. Advertise the best parts of the game then bury it all beneath all the tedious BS so they can play their "numbers" game. Their idea of player retention is torturing their dwindling player base. Pete Parsons truly should be in jail for what he did to this studio. I have nothing but bleepable words for that worthless creaton.

Make something to strengthen the renegade theme storyline. You are building your weapon and need parts similar to many Star Wars stories. A dedicated dungeon is too much work. Simpler add ons would be appreciated by players and programmers alike.

I doubt it’ll be tied to a dungeon but to an exotic mission like they did with the class item. I’m hoping they sell crystals for the light to change rather than having to buy ornaments. It’s an exotic so no shaders won’t work on this thing ehhhhh. They should just release it as a legendary so we can equip shaders imho so we can individualize our selves like jedis.

Go ahead if you want to kill the expansion and start another rebellion lol No they shouldn't we don't need a repeat of the "Dual Destiny" incident and the last thing you wanna do is put the main selling point of the expansion weapon behind a dungeon and make the casual players mad and drive them off this is the wrong time to start gate keeping that. The top priority is bringing new and returning players not to drive them away.

No it's not. It's should be a quest. Not stupid mission with timer or dungeon that wouldn't become any easier if you got that sword. Have you ever completed quest for Ace of Spades Hand Cannon? If no, find full walkthrough on YT. I got sick about new exotics closed behind repetitive, boring and become abandoned by players activities (legendary lost sectors is awful idea too, it would be better if new exotics dropped in competitive/Osiris/IB/nightfalls).

2 通の返信Watch it be the same scenario like with TFS and class items. Mission requires two people, light and dark subclass etc etc....like a "duel of fates" theme. And of course, no MM for the quest line. I guess I'll wait till its at Xur or a seasonal event then.

1 返信It makes no sense for it to be the dungeon exotic. I know that rumor has been thrown out there but I'm not believing it until I see it. Assuming the Lightsaber is not a GUARANTEED Dungeon Exotic: Raid and Dungeon weapons are never released early, by Bungie, only by leaks. This weapon has been featured since before Edge of Fate came out. There is a character in the upcoming campaign that has one. Even though this has been done before in other Star Wars games, it would be a fantastic quest for that person to send us on. From a PR prospective, it would be flat out criminal to put the weapon behind a 5-8% chance of anyone getting it after the contest mode.

And you dont need to be unemployed or a streamer to do dungeons lmao. Just nit being lazy is enough. And its part of the fun to discover and learn these strats. Because once you "learn" them through a video or by being explained... You realize its just childs play. And if thats just to get another exotic in an activity like heliostat...no thank you. Exotic missions are lame now.

I agree that the light saber should not be unlocked via a dungeon. Customize options via dungeon is OK with me. Honestly, I will be surprised if the light saber is not the first unlock in the paid season reward track (like the void scout and strand rocket pulse have been in the previous two season pass tracks). Would be a way for Bungie to increase their revenue from players buying the paid part of the track.

They’ve said that the lightsaber will be crafted and customizable using parts found throughout the expansion including the dungeon. So the dungeon isn’t necessarily required for the lightsaber, but some upgrade is at least in there.
