OK, I don't know who's idea at Bungie it was for ONLY ONE (1) character on an account to only get leveled up to 300, but when there are those of us that have more than 1 character per account, it just doesn't seem right at all. Now I know that I'm a bit late to this "party", but this should be changed BEFORE Renegades comes out. So that way we can be able to level all of our characters up to 300 instead of taking the slow road to get there while one of them is already there. So why can't they all be given the chance to get to 300?

It does leave the issue of the portal now treating all of your characters as being at that power even if their best gear isn't, but there is at least one way around it; if you haven't collected all of the armour pieces from the seasonal reward track for each of your characters, those are at account power and can be used for infusion.

Power level is now based on account, not character. So you dont need a full set of 300 for each character. As soon as one character reaches 300, you will get 300+ drops for the other characters as well. This includes rewards from doing actual activities, as well as just collecting rewards & engrams from the reward pass, the weekly track, or the 2 free arsenal token from Zavala.

Go to your season pass pull the free armor on other characters boom 300 on all 3 and it took 5 minutes. If you haven't played and leveled up the pass, or own it, get to grinding like the rest of the player base who Earned their loot and levels. It's bad enough Bungie pretty much handed out free 300 gear to players who don't want to play the game just to have them complain and sabotage destiny with dog 💩 feedback that has already made it worse for the entire community. Oh solo stuff needs to be implemented, portal gives it yet these so called solo players don't do anything. The raid too hard, use a mic and work as a team it's so F'ing easy to learn and coordinate with others stop being a dingus. Tired of the BS I read on here, at this point leveling is the easiest it's ever been since EoF Launch, I'm glad as well because that grind to 450 prior to ash of rust was a serious kick in the nuts for those who did hit 450 prior to the leveling buffs. Sadly Bungie still caters to those who did nothing meanwhile those who invested and put work in still get 💩 on compared to casuals. That's another reason why many are no longer playing because those who deserve a handout do not get one it's those who did nothing.

Now that you’re essentially 300 across all characters, you can go mine, the customized alters of sorrow during the festival of the loss for armor, weapons, and money that will drop at close to whatever light your highest character is… this allows you to upgrade all the characters. It takes about two minutes per run, and you get either an armor or a weapon at the end of it plus the strange coins and the glimmer and enhancement cores… I alternate between portal activities and mining the sorrows and have brought all my characters up from 390 to 5:40 in the space of a week and a half…

This should be shocking but for some reason isn't because, Bungie. They allowed the thunderlord bundle for all characters if I remember correctly. At least for the armor, weapons were a one-time acquisition.
