There is positive stuff on the forums, just not about d2. On that note, the finals is amazing

Fotl rocks!!!! Love, the fact it’s customizable! Solo runs in 2 minutes! Guaranteed drops of enhancement, cores, and strange coins, and level one weapons in armor at current power! This makes up for all the grinding I had to do to get here …. Gonna bring all my characters up to the same level. That equates to …..EDIT: candies removed on recent update 😥….. BUT STILL GET 60 strange coins an hour, 120000 glimmer, and weapon/armor drops at close to your light or level….The rumble if you just sit there and do an emote drops even more loot… you can get your special shinys as well…. Whoooohooo! And rumble ? Even more strange coins per hour,m … it does drop better rewards though than doing the solo custom …So freaking neat that I can just sit there and emote something like sitting in a chair or dancing for 3 to 4 minutes and still get massive loot at the end! Oh no, I got six place! I still got eight pieces of armor and weapons all at level five with some at power levels higher than my highest armor weapon… this is better than the loot cave! Note that you do have to move a little bit every now and then to keep from getting thrown back into orbit… but hey if the other team kills you quick enough, it’s OK 😝 Woooohooooooo! And there’s your positive post !

Not much to really be positive about. Game is currently just too buggy and filled with too many issues to even ignore. Bungie seems to just be using buckets to throw out the water coming into the ship instead of actually plugging the holes.

Reading through the replies… A weird idea I’ve seen many times over the years on this forum  - people think feedback has to be negative, or it’s better if it’s negative. There’s also a misconception that the D2 forums are only for feedback. I’m not against criticism, but I am against focussing only on negativity, especially when it becomes exaggerated or untruthful. IMO, the best feedback is fair and balanced.  General chat about a fun hobby shouldn’t dwell on negativity (if that becomes the norm, it stops being a fun hobby).

a good bit of the people on the forums quit in lightfall/TFS, and just bring down the people who actually play the game. same with reddit, and twitter.

Misery loves company bro. People who are enjoying something dont usually interrupt the enjoyment to announce their enjoyment. They keep on doing the thing they enjoy. The complainers, on the other hand... all they have is the complaining. They complain cuz they dont have the fortitude to either find a way to fix, enjoy, or quit the thing that makes them miserable. They publicly express all their complaints & grievances, hoping to either kill other ppl's joy, or to find others who share their misery. My proof is the fact that people still come to complain on these forums even tho they havent played the game in 3 months. The real "state of the game" is that ppl are actually so obsessed with it that they claim to have "quit" but wont cut the umbilical attachment to the forums.

I mean it’s a feedback forum, generally people are going to give their thoughts on game issues…. Problem is there are a small group of fanatics that take criticism of the game personally and start disrupting most threads….. that’s where all the negativity comes from imo

You won’t hear the ‘positive’ people here much. Their busy playing the game right now. A few rare remarks of positivity still, but you’ll read more about people ‘speaking their mind’ on here about how unfair/unbalanced things can be. Pretty standard on most forums I’d say.

It really isn't that bad. There are just a handful of bad actors on these forums that only flame on posts. Instead of contributing to the convo or issue, they instead troll them. They're getting called out more and more now, which is a good sign.

I see a lot of positive posts offering help and assistance, or even a kind word, or a virtual hug, to reasonable Guardians having a bit of a tough time. I also see a lot of extreme viewpoints from both sides of that fluctuating conversation. What they all share are equal measures of frustration and disbelief in the state of the game. I’ve been holding BHQs feet to the fire since way back, if merited…and have also sung their praises on those rare occasions when it, too, was merited. If there is but one thing that unites every reasonable Guardian, it is the surefire knowledge that Destiny’s full potential has yet to be fulfilled.
