Yes, something weird is happening to me where I look forward to playing the game, and then I open the portal and… same old same old nothing really exciting to do.
I’m getting portal burnout, everything is the same, everything is sweaty with the modifiers.
Honestly the most fun I had in the last few weeks was farming Neoma for the exotics and farming Pale Hearth for class items.
Do people at Bungie realize how bad it is?
I miss these type of open world encounters with other players, these fun and more laid back activities where you don’t feel like you have to always play for a score.

Portal burnout for sure. I wasn’t even one of the ones who did Caldera 1000 times. I’ve mostly been playing crucible with my friend. If there isn’t a new featured weapon in the pinnacle ops, I don’t really engage with the portal. I guess I’ve had a little fun with the GM conquests. LFG was actually a success for the first 4. I’d much rather do them with my friends, but they don’t play enough to be anywhere near level (not sure if the fireteam leader brings them up.) The other day I logged in twice only to sit in orbit and log right back off. I cleaned up my vault a little, so that’s something.

Apologies in advance lol Yeah, I could delete a bunch of weapons I haven’t used in a while, but most of the rolls I have are for crucible. Some have sentimental kill counts. Some are just unobtainable currently. I got rid of all my old armor. Then old exotics. Then exotic weapons. For what it’s worth, I do enjoy the new armor stat system, but now that I’m getting T5 drops consistently, and want to play with different builds, the vault space is holding me back. Either I have hundreds of weapons, or hundreds of armor pieces. For now, I guess I’m only using a handful of builds and keeping my weapons. I have nearly every exotic Titan mark; I guess I could delete those. I don’t even play Warlock or Hunter since edge of fate released due to armor storage constraints. I just don’t get it. I hope the Renegades release has a meaningful fix, and not just 100 extra spaces.
