Unstable Core => Enhancement Core exchange at Rahool
Since I hit 450 before Ash and Iron I have basically been capped on Unstable Cores most of the time. With the supply drop I've purposely been spending as many Unstables as I can on gear worth upgrading and I still have over 500k of them, so I'm not able to pickup the 777,777 from the supply drop.
What's my main bottle neck? Enhancement Cores.
I've gotten down to 0 enhancement cores about 50 times since Edge of Fate released and there's no easy way to actually farm them directly.
Even doing the blue armor trick isn't great because I'm spending enhancement prisms on upgrading the blues to get enhancement cores, but also on upgrading gear to tier 5. And thus I run out of those too.
Using Rahool and Xur's weekly enhancement core purchases lets me upgrade a few items, but that's it and then I'm stuck with 700k Unstables and no enhancement cores.
Since Bungie has already said they are deprecating Unstable Cores with Renegades I would like a way to convert those to more useful currencies, ie enhancement cores/prisms. For me personally Enhancement cores would be way more beneficial.
I would like this post to serve as a formal request/petition to introduce this kind of system in to the game until Renegades launches.

8 通の返信I've never had less than 10k enhancement cores for years, my vault is near full and I dismantle anything that's not A or S tier. Have you been upgrading everything in your vault whether in use or not? Do you have any legacy armour hanging about as even if you still use it in a build, it can be replaced. Believe me I hated dumping the artifice stuff I ground for hours to get but I did it. Season of the lost should be a good source of junk though so may be at least a partial solution for you. :)

1 返信They removed the Pathfinder system, and that one, after all the adjustments, was a good source of materials and bright dust. For a company so understaffed, they really waste a lot of time fixing problems they created for themselves.

4 通の返信Bounties from Banshee rewards enhancement cores and I believe they refresh daily, so that will net you a few more each day at least. Prisms also drop pretty frequently from portal activities (as well as the occasional core) which you can use for the blue armour trick you've been doing. Though I do agree that we need a better materials/currency exchange system, but I'd suggest you take a good look through your armour sets and think "do I really need this". If the answer is no, delete it. 100+ armour pieces for one character is a little excessive. You don't need 1 of every archetype from every set. Also, if you've been running out of cores that frequently whilst going through EoF then you've probably been wasting them on unnecessary infusions and masterworking low tier gear. An easy mistake to make when you're new to the game.
