The Portal Pinnacle Ops Exotic weapons have been mentioned in the past as RNG by Bungie (but it looks more like they forgot to add DMT to the Portal version of Presages loot table). Out of curiosity do you know which update specifically they said it was fixed in? the only recent mention of Presage in patch notes I can recall was Sept 15th when they fixed the internal timer being bugged.
Can you run the non-portal version by heading to world -> legends -> presage to see if it drops there rather than the Portal one?

Yup, got it in one! The non-portal version had it hanging there. Thank you for your help, not had a lot of good experience with bungie customer service, but your responses have been prompt, polite, and very helpful!
