The only people crying about cores are the ones who insist on infusing every single piece of trash in their vault up to level. With the amount of gear there is to dismantle, it's literally impossible to run out of cores if you're actually playing the game.
Now, they'll be removed and we'll go back to a worse system with no way to stay stocked on enhancement cores. Nice work everyone

And how much is considered to be "actually playing the game"? The cost being too high is the reason why people burned out from it. Sure, maybe you're not supposed to infuse every single trash but it doesn't justify the cost to infuse one. They want to put cost to infuse something? Sure, but don't make it another grind just to do it once. Honestly, nothing should feel like a grind when you play a game except for maybe the best items or best roll and even then it shouldn't be too much

The cost literally isn't that high for infusion, and if you're constantly bone dry on cores it's 100% a skill/management issue. The only time you'll see jumps in cost is if you're infusing from 10 power to 500+, which I'd say about 97% of the community is not. Playing the game and dismantling gear normally, gets you plenty of cores. Every -blam!- piece literally breaks down into hundreds cores. It's entirely impossible to run out unless you're wasting them on junk, plain and simple.

Which doesn't really justify the jump in cost. What's wrong with infusing 10 power gears? If they want people to try builds, this cost isn't the way to go. You can't expect people to try different builds and grind for the infusion cost, people will simply use one build and barely bother to change or leave from burnout
