Nice I can go back to kicking Titans that have it equipped so I dont have to deal with them inevitably dying when their crutch doesnt make up for their complete lack of skill.

I get what you’re saying, however, I do think it works well with Aurora dawn with flash counter/cold steel. I ain’t saying hold block all day and never shoot your weapon, but it’s easy revives in otherwise sticky situations. Before edge of fate, I remember going through liminality; we got to the boss room (I had to run both orbs prior to get there) and my fireteam kept going down. We can either wipe, or I can throw on stronghold and keep them in the fight. I think of it more as support than anything.

I hate to have to run a certain loadout because of my teammates, thkugh. Thats no fun.

I'm a warlock main, but I soloed an old GM with strongholds standing up to those mini gun barrier champs like they were nothing. Bolt charge barricade and revision zero were doing the damage. In summary, 100% is a crutch, but it is effective.

Agreed. At that point, we were an excruciating 40 minutes into the run. I wanted to bail, then I thought, F it, I’ll whip out strongholds, and run the orbs in the boss room too lol These guys will get the clear, and I won’t be disappointed in myself for dipping out. I like loadouts that compliment my fireteam, not make up for. In that specific case, it was the latter.

It was master, I believe. We got to the boss relatively quick the first time, then leader took us to orbit when he and dude kept dying, and I wasn’t able to rez them both safely. Sorry I didn’t specify. Switched loadout before he launched again. At that point, it was a 40 minute investment that first attempt, and they were willing to go again. Switched to stronghold, was able to safely get double rez’s in the boss room.

I came really close to soloing it on GM before Edge of Fate.

To be completely invincible with no downtime you needed a sword with infinite guard. So, at least in the current loot pool or until Renegades limited that specific use case for Conquests or using Touche'. I used them in -50 solo ultimate with pressure cooker and extinction. I used them in Ultimate matchmade Reclaim on the worst modifier days. I used them to finish gilding my Conqueror... the last 2 I needed. They were great... perfect guard energy gains needed a little tuning, and I would have been okay if they gave every sword infinite guard kinda like before.

Howling is gonna get touched... but it's still a good change, Stasis Titan needed help. It... and the Warlock buffs have me excited for the changes to void hunter. That we know nothing about, but I got some ideas.... I think it's related to the new modifier Battlefield Promotion 👀.

That's literally one of my favorite kits in the game. S&S is not understood by most players. How versatile it is... It's a great panic super, more than keeping you alive too... like a Beserker. It isn't a DPS super on it's own... but IT IS A DPS Super. It's very underrated. And I'm serious about the Beserker thing, I'll pop Trancendance, Super... then go on a rampage with unlimited abilities after, weakening everything... invis almost the entire time.

You do need the shatter fragment to make it DPS viable... but you can stun lock bosses with it, it resets their attack scripting in some cases. You just need to learn the right weapons and tactics to combo with it. One of the easiest rotations... is S&S Thunderlord on Prismatic Hunter. Or you can combo it with grapple melee. The spike transcendence grenade is the best ability to stack elemental honing. And then there's Bakris with the Stasis Caster (I'm blanking)... So yeah, lol... It's ****ing "VERS-A- TILE". There's a Glaive Rotation with Winterbite.... I never get bored with it. Might be my favorite... S&S Prismatic Hunter.

S&S Prismatic Hunter.[/quote] I believe what im using has the Grapple grenade, threaded spike melee, ascension etc... the damage reduction is insane because I basically have 100% uptime on Woven Mail and frost armor. And omg am I addicted to ascension now. I played this build so much I still after a month of playing Borderlands 4 try to grapple melee and use ascension in that game, too, lol.
