Brother, I don't think you played H4.
Sure, to most the points for H5.
But,
1. H4 had the classic halo gamemodes. Also, every halo had UI changes.
2. H4's campaign was not that bad and improved upon it with Spartan Ops.
3. H4 had probably the most "earnability" when it came to armor in the whole series. You had to complete challenges that ranged from playing a specific way, getting high amounts of assassinations, to even solving puzzles and finding hidden glyphs in MP maps.
4. H4 You made custom loadouts, also halo reach had some pre-set loadouts. Why isn't that game in there. Also, H5 got rid of loadouts in favor of ability and weapon pick-ups like previous halos before reach.
5. Sure.
Listen, I understand trying to compare a bunch of dumpster fires and saying they're a dumpster on fire.
But don't say falsehoods to make it fit a narrative.

Agreed, most problems were much more promenient in Halo 5 My biggest gripe with Halo 4 was the story, not because of the deeper development of Chief and his relationship with cortana (which was pretty sick), but how much random lore was dunked all at once. And also the art style changes, like Chief's armor for example. The game just kinda falls short in my opinion cause it was the start of many, many mistakes by 343, which only got worse in Halo 5

InsipidPandaにより編集済み: 10/9/2025 12:10:43 PMI actually really enjoyed H5s PvP. However, I won't say it was even related to any of the halos, Infinite had a more faithful experience than 5. Tbh if they just made a new game franchise instead of a Halo game with H5s PvP, I feel like more people would've come around. I think the expectation of the previous Halos feel and gameplay is what set it up for failure, that and the campaign being trash with God awful marketing.

I grew up with halo, halo 2 and halo 3. So i had a hard time like the later ones. I was okay with reach and 4 felt okay but the introduction to springing and things and abilities kinda ruined it for me. It wasn’t just about gun skill or control layout.
