Crossbow is a Mirage
If you look into the engram Ada sells, you'll see a strange weapon called a "Cross Bow", it's real weird, looks like it shoots arrows instead of bullets. Anyway, I focus a bunch of engrams, and wouldn't you know it, 80% shotguns 20% swords 0% crossbow. Pretty sure we crossed timelines because it's very obvious that the crossbow doesn't exist here. I will ask once, is the crossbow supposed to be dropping from engrams or not? I have raked my nuts over the coals in over 100, probably closer to 150 reclaims at this point, speedran ~20? solo creation runs on ultimate for tokens, and can't get one Bow of Cross for the trouble. Man I just want to use the new weapon type.

1 返信It’s a very rare drop right now. It’ll be significantly more common in the last event of the season. Don’t focus on getting it now. You’ll just burn yourself out over what is in the end a very mid weapon

2 通の返信It does but only up to T4 variants I have gotten two even though the ones I have gotten from actually playing during events so far is 4 T5s so I’ve seen a total of six since ash and iron dropped.

2 通の返信I've been playing all week. Cashed in 100s of tokens and not one crossbow. I'd love one with chill clip. Even been farming hardware, still nothing. I'm so sick of getting swords. I wouldn't mind a shotgun with headstone, chill clip and rimestealer.

you will be able to Attune for [b]Submersion[/b] drops during [b]Call to Arms[/b], the final Event of [b]Ash & Iron[/b]. As such you may want to consider whether it makes more sense to play at your normal rate for the time being and wait until it is more easily attainable before grinding for the Crossbow. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Man I just want to use the new weapon type.[/quote] The crossbow is for the call to arms event, but they added it to other events in the meantime as a super rare drop. You can get it, it’s just rare. It will be a regular drop for hr end of season event.

I had crossbows and sword drop from hardware event, iron banner and heavy metal (basically all event specific activities) but never from engrams. Could still be RNG but I would bet on couple runs of hardware event for the crossbow rather than engrams. Got multiple crossbows (including godroll) from iron banner so just wait ~10 days and you may have a decent shot before the season ending event.

5 通の返信Cough Cough. Hi, I'm Bungie and I'm sorry you are having issues with your crossbow.... Sorry, I just can't do that anymore. It's really just bad RNG for you I guess. I've gotten about eight crossbows and dismantled every one of them. I got two from Ada and the rest from that crucible hardware mode. Hope you get one soon with great perks.
