Probably depends on what class you are playing. Haste sucks for warlocks and titans. With warlock buddies/turrets I can usually get out of chill touch situations. But it can be dangerous for sure. I get caught off guard by what is considered a “melee” sometimes for things like bosses. Like the Wyvern dive with chill touch is horrifying lol.
I just flash back to 'Season of the Witch' and the Altar of Summoning, where we'd be up against hordes of Thrall on the ground and yellow-bar Shriekers spraying the air with Void death; nowhere to go and nowhere to hide.
Plus as an added bonus, the ground was so uneven and the slightest bit of time spent in the air (even a fraction of a second) would result in your speedy demise.
Damn it, I hated that activity.
