If there are any audio devices connected that could be taking priority (such as headphones when you're trying to use speakers), try disabling them.
Please also try restarting the game and clearing the download cache:

If you're on Steam, you can clear the cache by going to Steam>Settings>Downloads>Clear Download Cache.
If you continue experiencing this after clearing the cache, please let us know which platform you're experiencing the issue on.

Please try switching audio devices if possible (ie: switch to speakers if you're using headphones and vice-versa). If the issue only occurs on one type of audio device, this may indicate problems with the audio drivers or hardware being used. We'd recommend contacting the manufacturer for more specialized troubleshooting in this case.
