Here's the thing. Yes, it certainly does feel unrewarding at high powers to run a quickplay playlist for the bonus rewards. However, if you leave the playlist alone, then anytime the game gives you bonus reward options after game completions and the playlist already has 3 bonus rewards tied to it, it will always allocate the new bonus drops to the activities below instead of the playlist, and in Solo Ops, you're not really losing anything at all for running those instead in the first place.
Fireteam Ops is a little bit more restrictive for that, but there should be no problem in Solo Ops if you leave the playlist alone. It even allows you to customize the modifiers when you try that method.

these are good tips but I am aware of them. The specific issue is that Mida Mini Tool is the bonus focus on the playlist and I want a good one. I cant farm the bonus focus weapon when it lands on the quickplay playlist because i cant get my score high enough

Lord Magrisにより編集済み: 10/2/2025 2:04:17 AMI mean, unless they add a Grandmaster and maybe an Ultimate(???) quickplay playlist, or they allow a focused item to appear focused on more than one mission at a time, I don't think there are other ways to improve it in terms of farming focused gear. I guess there is room for an item to be focused on more than one matchmade activity at a time. As for now, you might just have to pass on it for today or try your luck with RNG in non-quickplay missions. Find whichever mission you think is quick and easy and just blitz it. MIDA Mini Tool is also part of a shared loot pool, so it can also drop in Pinnacle and Crucible pools, albeit at a lesser frequency (as unappealing as that might sound). EDIT: They could also just change it where if your power is high enough, then you could be guaranteed a minimum score rank of B+ or something, but I don't think it would help much with getting higher tier loot.

Yeah, it has annoyed me a lot just because it has appeared on the playlist multiple times and not on anything else, at least on the days i play. It honestly feels really rough trying to get anything specific out of portal ops since they added the new ash and iron gear into the lootpool. There are close to 20 things in the solo/fireteam ops pool now, its just so bloated. I wish the new portal things with ash dropped the new pool and original portal stuff dropped the old pool.
