Loot drop %
I’ve played 47 IB matches. I’ve had one crossbow drop. I will never understand the extremely low drop rate bullcrap that Bungie does in the name of engagement when all they will do is say, “We’re listening” and increase it to an insanely comical amount of drops on the final IB of the season. Just absolutely stupid and lazy thinking.

I got 2x cbows from burning the IB tokens in the portal IB store (3rd box down) I also found 1x cbow in the postmaster. I wasn’t chasing them though on my first token burn (of two tokens - a few days ago), they dropped. FWIW: took them for a spin…now vaulted until further notice. 🤖 That is all. Ease Springs! 🖖

This should not be Raid exotic level drop rates, period. Edit. Literally, literally just gave me my 1st Tier 5 drop bow. I'm done. They got enough grinding out of me, which was their intention.

4 通の返信All I’ve played this week is IB, and I’ve only had 3 drop. 4 if you count the one I got from Saladin for enhancement cores and glimmer…..very low drop chance indeed 🤨

The idea of a chase weapon being rare is a concept many of my fellow guardians seem to fail to comprehend. Them trickling crossbows into the community gives the first people time to be test subjects for being able to fix fatal bugs before too many people get their hands on one like a lightweight sword hilt. “We want to be able to test this with the most diehard of people who perform well for testing” sounds horrible compared to “we are making this a RARE drop”. Maybe it’s also tied to how well you played and I have to ask did you get your single crossbow from a win or a loss?
