you picked it up in reclaim activities and de-spawned from the right activity, its a bug. I haven't found info on bungie addressing this yet.

How you join the activity is not relevant. The data pads are supposed to be there no matter what. But if you picked some extra pads up last week in the Reclaim activity, you will have missing ones this week. I have the same issue, as do many others it seems

I collected 3 extra data pads in previous weeks (all from Reclaim missions), and after finding one in Battleground: Core today I received the final page of the As Without lore book. This leaves me with one Reclaim mission and two Pinnacle missions which won't drop data pads. Which means there are two seasonal challenges I can't claim.
