Russia is banned
This is utterly outrageous. The entire CIS region effectively cannot play the game. Russia is banned. Whatever they tell me about equality and equal rights, this is obvious injustice. Let's just ban all Russians for no reason. Prove that this isn't a ban. Bungie hasn't given a single, NOT A SINGLE COMMENT ON THE PROGRESS.
No, I'm not talking about fixing the tapir error that the entire CIS region encountered. I'm talking about Bungies position on this issue. Not a single word, not one! These -blam!- are just trying to pretend nothing happened, as usual, like the players will just forget somehow.

6 通の返信If you’re having issues as a country that’s an aggressor on the world stage with not getting the same levels of service as people who aren’t from “acts like pieces of turd” countries maybe as a people you would learn to not try to conquer your neighbours and then wouldn’t have issues with not getting the same service everyone else gets. Move somewhere other than Russia if being Russian is an issue for you.

5 通の返信Update. As I said, I have several accounts. One is registered in Russia, the others are not. I just tried using a specific DNS server in the PS5 settings (not a VPN). The game lets me in from all accounts except the Russian one. Now I’m convinced that this is a regional block on Bungie’s side (intentional or not, I don’t know), and not a blocking issue.

Historically Bungie has never been good about communicating when there has been huge blunder on their end. I remember there was a FULL week of players having all kinds of issues after the release of a DLC (I forget which one), where the game was unplayable. There were so many login errors, pve and pvp crashes and weapon glitches but they were silent about the majority of the problems and only tweeted and spoke up on the small typical errors like the weapon glitches. It wasn't until people started requesting refunds that they finally came forward and admitted they F'd up and then some. Start flooding Playstation, Xbox and steam with refund requests. The platforms will be the thing to get your answers.

Spike in ping happened as soon as the message was routed from russia to netherlands. to be fair there is another location for 62.140.245.1 in belgium, but the ones belonging to Fiord Networks are all russian. same for 62.140.239.189. this has locations in netherlands and russia, both registered to Fiord Networks. So i guess there is the culprit on provider side. They just abide the russian laws and probably have to do package control. 1 返信I recently bought enough silver for 3 sets of new armor. I feel like the bungie cheated me out of 60 bucks. It seems they don't need our region or our money. I had a better opinion of you bungie.

1 返信They simply haven't been fined for violating consumer protection laws in a long time. Oddly enough, fines usually magically make such "mistakes" disappear in the blink of an eye.
