Now like am I lost or does she simply just not have a motive or any idea? I understand she wants to bring bad her dead wife but like she goes to Kepler to kill 3 or whatever and then now she's taking over the land like I know you were in love but I thought you were over this? And shouldn't you idk keep trying to find ways to bring her back instead of just deciding to nuke the entire world?
I don't know I've seen some antagonists with good motives but this isn't one of them. And what's with the plot armor? We've killed oryx, we've killed atheon, we've killed witness snd now we can't even harm Maya? Like how does that make sense? The echo is strong but nothing compared to them especially witness.

It's because she's a protagonist that metamorphosized into an Anti-hero. And yes, that's in the lore... So, it's called Subject 12... that's the Vex Prophet. It told Maya many things... but one thing specifically was that, the only timelines where life even has a chance of survival are those in which she becomes the conductor. The exo experiments were used to verify the credibility of the Vex Prophet's information. And in Veil Containment, those Chioma logs were experiments to flush out the permutations' respective the Conductor. To prepare Chioma for that sacrifice... to inherit the echo of command and take control of the Vex collective. SiVA is part of that. That's why the Conductor is in the Plaguelands, that's why there are dead splicers on the ground in Reclaim.
