I really like the direction they are going with the buff. I just hope they nerf the cheesy bs at the same time.

    It seems cool but I run mobility boots on whatever character I’m playing…. Mobility makes it harder to hit shots on the character using the mobility than it is to hit shots while moving I wonder what the knee jerk response is going to be. Last hunter stompee meta caused the massive widespread AE rollout that gutted your ability to shoot in the air at all…. And they have slowly brought AE back. I have a rose with elemental capacitor that has 60ae. Slap an in flight compensator on my head I can have 75AE… rose lightweight buff, stompee buff, new hunter mobility buff. It was a fun meta. But…. It’s a massive buff in PvP for hunter. Relative to other characters

  • Idk I feel in air play is doable on warlock or titan also as long as you jump in bursts. High mobility can feel a bit difficult to hit strafe shots with if you have gotten used to low mob but at least with hcs it’s absolutely worth it since it makes it easier to peekshoot.

    Ya in air gameplay is highly doable as titan and warlock… they both enjoy in air gameplay and like it. Probably warlocks more than titans. I think AE is a good thing in general. To not hit shots in the air is miserable. But hunter high jump goes up and comes down until you hit your second jump… then youre rapidly accelerating in a different direction. It can’t be predicted in the same way titan and warlock can. Ya you can shoulder charge or Icarus dash… or even air dodge on strand hunter…. But I’d argue you get more directional change and movement acceleration on second high jump than you do on even an Icarus dodge. If you ever played Overwatch Genji has a double jump… that’s a perfect example of the same type of in air evasiveness. It kinda already seems like the classes are pretty balanced atm… I’m just not seeing how giving hunters perma stompeez and mini ophidians is far to a %10 grenade cd buff. Lmao. At least it’s not a stasis buff. But still. I don’t see a reason to not play hunter in the crucible if these changes roll out. AND the classic argument that it’s harder to hit shots bc I’m moving fast…. Never really holds up…. It is always easier to hit shots on a slower moving target while moving fast… than it is move slower and hit shots on a fast moving target… it’s pretty true of every fps game. Just think of the screen.. on their screen you will go outside the monitor and will have to rotate less than how the target will appear in your screen.

  • Hunter is certainly too strong right now. (yes i know i sound like im crying nerf Hunters) For real tho, I can name multiple abilities that Hunters have that you can't punish effectively. Tempest Strike into Ascension, Lightweight Throwing Knife tracking around corners (also when paired with the shotty hc because it seems that nerf didnt go through) Titans are only a bit stronger than Warlocks because of Bolt Charge barricade (if you dont find that annoying kudos to you) I don't want to say Warlocks are weak cuz thats my main. We have some really good builds. However, it doesn't keep up in the long run. Just look at the Trials numbers (again, yes i know low playerbase is a factor but hear me out) 44% of players that week were Hunters. Titans and Warlocks tied at 28%. Such a gap is just crazy
